The service tech Jacob Acedo was extremily knowledgeable and polite so much, I signed up for an extended service plan

James was our technician today. He is awesome and a pleasure to work with. He checked our furnace to prep for the cooler weather….if it ever gets here. We were really pleased with his friendliness and professionalism. Thankfully things checked out fine and will have James out in early spring to have the A/C tuned up. We trust Alaskan for our heating and cooling needs.
Zach is the best!!! In fact, Alaskan is outstanding. On a Sunday around 1:00 PM I called to get service. By 2:30 PM the service was complete. Zach made it happen.
Oh my gosh! I will never use any other AC service company again BUT Alaskan A/C and Heating. I called the company who installed our unit 3 years ago but being that it was a Sunday afternoon no one was there or called back. I called Alaskan (heard their advertisement on AM KNST)and spoke to someone who set up an “emergency” call. I got a phone call within 5 minutes and they said they’d be at my house in 20 minutes. Zach arrived and was very polite and professional, he diagnosed the problem from far away based on his experience. The condensation(?) line was clogged, seemed to be a simple fix but without knowing anything about AC systems we were were stuck with climbing temperatures in the house. Now the system is unclogged and working like a charm. Thank you Zach and Alaskan for being there when we needed it. I can’t recommend them enough! Just a side note, it was a little pricey but I gladly paid it to have working A/C.

2002 Carrier split system diagnostic Outdoor fan motor not powering on upon arrival. Voltage Enhancement Device tested and determined to be failed. Minimum repair is to replace the voltage enhancement device. Fan motor is not reliable and may fail next. Considering the age and condition of the system, recommend replacement of the unit. Collected diagnostic fee only for today’s visit.
